CVS CAREMARK CHARITY CLASSIC FIRST ROUND RESULTS

Bubba Watson and Camilo Villegas Lead

BARRINGTON, R.I. (June 23, 2008) -- Young guns Bubba Watson and Camilo Villegas took the lead on day one of the two-day CVS Caremark Charity Classic at Rhode Island Country Club. Both Watson and Villegas are making their second tournament appearance, although they previously played with different partners in different years.

"This format makes it fun on us," said Bubba Watson, who led the PGA TOUR in driving distance last year. "Out here I could just let it rip. It gives me a little more confidence to hit it harder."

Tournament co-host Billy Andrade's 14-year-old son Cameron caddied for Watson and provided good insight on what is Cameron's home course. "He listened to me for the first few holes. The only hole he didn't was on 18," said the young Andrade, who is a 10-handicap, "I've made that putt at least 20 times."

Billy Andrade and Davis Love III picked up Monday's only Energizer Skin with a birdie on hole #7.

Four teams are tied at second place heading into Tuesday's final round, including tournament co-host Billy Andrade and partner Davis Love III as well as U.S. Open second-place finisher Rocco Mediate and his partner Brandt Snedeker, who placed third at this year's Masters Tournament.
