With a rich golf tradition based at the Donald Ross-designed Rhode Island Country Club; the Charity Classic has been bringing world-class professional golf since 1999. From the beginning, the Charity Classic has been making history.

  • In 1999, Scott McCarron and Lee Janzen made PGA TOUR history by sinking back-to-back hole in ones at the 17th hole of RICC.
  • Since it's inception, three Charity Classics have been decided in sudden deaths. The most recent in 2006 when Nick Price and Tim Clark defeated Co-host Brad Faxon and Mike Wier after three sudden death holes.
  • In 2012, Morgan Pressel and Jay Haas became the first co-ed team to win the Charity Classic.
