Two Female-Led Teams Take Home First Place in CVS Caremark Charity Classic Pepsi Pro-Am

TWO FEMALE-LED TEAMS TAKE HOME FIRST PLACE IN CVS CAREMARK CHARITY CLASSIC PEPSI PRO-AM

WOONSOCKET, RHODE ISLAND (June 21, 2009) -- The CVS Caremark Charity Classic's traditional Sunday Pepsi Pro-Am proved to be another great event. Featuring a star-studded field of 64 leading pros, the teams played through misting rain to complete 18-holes at the scenic Rhode Island Country Club.

This year the tournament awarded prizes for each of the two shotgun starts. Brittany Lincicome and amateur teammates John Malmborg, Lanny Lewis, Tony Gonzales and Bruce Meyers won the CVS Caremark Charity Classic's Pepsi Pro-Am morning round with a score of 19-under-par (52).

First place for the afternoon group went to Diana D'Alessio with amateur teammates Jeff Tomchik, Jeff Kraft, Corey Litchfield and Dennis Curran with a score of 17-under-par (54). Scores for the top-five finishing teams in each start of the CVS Caremark Charity Classic Pepsi Pro-Am include:

Tickets to the 2009 CVS Caremark Charity Classic golf tournament are still available at the tournament admissions gate or at Will Call, located at Seekonk Speedway. Spectator parking is available at Seekonk Speedway for $5.00 per car. Free shuttle buses will bring spectators to and from Rhode Island Country Club.
