Peter Jacobsen will be making his 13th consecutive appearance in the CVS Caremark Charity Classic this year. Jacobsen joined the Champions Tour in 2004 and won the first and second major championships of his professional career at the 2004 U.S. Senior Open and at the 2005 Ford Senior Players Championship. Jacobsen was honored with the Francis Ouimet Award for Lifelong Contributions to Golf in 2006. Jacobsen is also in the media circuit—presenting two shows on the Golf Channel. In the 2010 season, Jacobsen played in 14 Champions Tour events and finished in the Top 25 in four of them, despite his recent injury and back surgery. His best outings of the year, posting two T17 finishes, were at the Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualalai and also at The Cap Cana Championship in the Dominican Republic.
