This will be the second time LPGA phenom Lexi Thompson joins the CVS Caremark Charity Classic field. In 2007, at the age of 12, Thompson burst into headlines when she qualified for the U.S. Women’s Open. After representing America in the 2010 Curtis Cup, she announced her decision to turn professional and shortly after became the youngest player to win on the LPGA Tour with her victory at the Navistar LPGA Classic in 2011. Later that year she went on to win the OMEGA Dubai Ladies Masters Championship and became the second youngest winner ever on the Ladies European Tour.
