Jeff Sluman

Biography

After turning pro in 1980, Jeff Sluman picked up the first win of his career and his first major at the 1988 PGA Championship. Sluman earned five more TOUR victories over the next two decades before joining the Champions Tour in 2007. Sluman’s first Champions Tour win came the following year at the 2008 Bank of America Championship. Since then, he has won the First Tee Open three times (’08, ’09, ’11) and, most recently, the 2013 Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf with partner Brad Faxon.  Sluman was a member of the inaugural CVS Caremark Charity Classic main field in 1999, where he finished in first place with then-partner Stuart Appleby. Sluman picked up his second Charity Classic win in 2003 with then-partner Rocco Mediate. This will be his tenth time participating in the event.
