Biography

Since turning professional in 2007, Woodland’s career has been on an upward arc with the only pause being time missed in 2009 due to injury.  Woodland earned his first career victory this year at the Transitions Championship win over Webb Simpson on the final hole of regulation play.   Gary also netted a T-2nd finish at the Bob Hope Classic.  Fellow Charity Classic players Bill Haas and Jhonattan Vegas joined Woodland in a sudden death playoff at the Bob Hope Classic, with Vegas prevailing.  Gary played golf at Kansas University and is an avid basketball fan, especially of his Rock Chalk Jayhawks.
